An umbrella covers us and keeps us dry. It protects us.
There are times in life where we need other kinds of protection and looking after. When we think about being protected or looked after, we might think about parents looking after their children, or about protecting endangered animals, or about laws that keep people safe.
This activity encourages pupils to think about times when they, or others, have felt vulnerable and have been looked after or protected.
This activity was developed by Michael Scharf and his team in Austria.
