Christians believe that God made everyone different but special, and that God loves and welcomes all people.
Article 14 of the Human Rights Act requires that no one be discriminated against due to colour, race, sex, language, religion, national origin and many other grounds. Sadly, there are many people who still suffer from racial discrimination and persecution across the world.
This activity invites pupils to read the story of George Floyd, who was a victim of racially motivated police brutality in Minnesota, USA. Pupils are then encouraged to consider others who may have experience racial discrimination across the world and maybe even where they live.
