Regions
This activity invites pupils to reflect on world issues – wars, conflicts, etc. It can also be used to help pupils reflect on how they feel following a tragic event, and it gives them an opportunity to express these feelings. In particular, this activity invites pupils to think about the people who were or are involved.
Pupils are invited to look at images from around the world (e.g. wars, conflicts, natural disaster) or of a recent event (e.g. fire, terrrorist attack). Who has been hurt? Who is helping? Who, if anyone, caused this? What do we hope or wish or pray for those involved?
