Regions
A community is a place where you get to know people and people get to know you. A community is somewhere where you belong. The idea of community, that we all belong somewhere and have a purpose, is a really important one.
This activity encourages pupils to think about the community that they live in, and all of the smaller communities that they’re a part of like their school, friendship groups, family and clubs. Pupils do this by constructing a model of them self out of plasticine which can be placed with and among the other plasticine people that have been created.
