Regions
When Christians pray the Lord’s Prayer they say ‘Your kingdom come, your will be done’ which means they’re asking God to make the world a kinder, fairer place.
At election time people are looking ahead. Politicians make bold promises about what they will change, sometimes called a manifesto, but you will have your own ideas. Not everything needs to change; some things might already be good.
This prayer activity invites pupils to think about what they are thankful for and hope doesn’t change AND what they would like to change.
