The things that we do and say leave marks in the lives of those around us. It is impossible to leave no marks, no impressions, but it is possible to choose (and change) the marks, the impressions we leave. This activity encourages pupils to reflect on the impressions that others have made on their lives, and consider the impression they want to leave on others (and on the world).
Most prayer space teams use MP3 players and a guided narration for this prayer activity. This helps the pupils to focus on the subject, and it also prevents the sand trays from becoming ‘sand pits/play areas’.
