Regions
The national teams that we compete against in various sporting events come from all over the world. This activity encourages pupils to think about these nations around the world and about the challenges and opportunities that people living in those countries might face.
This activity can be ‘attached’ to any football competition – the Olympic Games, the World Cup, the European Cup, etc. – and it works best when extra information about each participating nation is also made available for students to look at, to fuel and focus their prayers.
This activity can also be wrapped around almost any other sporting event by using different sporting items, e.g. rugby ball, swimming float, athletics vest, cricket bat, etc.
