In the Bible God blesses humans and gives them a special job to take care of his world.
‘God blessed them: “Prosper! Reproduce! Fill Earth! Take charge! Be responsible for fish in the sea and birds in the air, for every living thing that moves on the face of Earth.”’ Genesis 1:28 Msg.
This prayer activity invites pupils to think about part of the natural world that they care about. It might be their favourite animal, bird or sea creature, or a place that they want to protect.
