Christa lives in Salzburg with her husband and two daughters. She studied Catholic religious education and has been working in the Archdiocese of Salzburg since 2017, initially as an employee of the Catholic Youth, where she also runs the ALIVE! Since 2019, she has been working as a consultant for the Catholic private schools and school pastoral care in the Office for Schools and Education. Together with her colleague Magdalena, she coordinates the prayer spaces in schools in Austria. Christa loves going out with her family and friends, makes a lot of (Irish) music and is always inspired and enchanted by the multi-faceted beauty of nature.
Coordinator / Austria
Franz is the coordinator of Prayer Spaces in Schools Austria and is based in Salzburg. He is a catholic theologian and works as a religious education teacher in a secondary school. Between 2012 and 2018 he worked for the diocese of Salzburg with a focus on children and youth ministry. He helped to found Prayer Spaces in Schools Austria in 2013.
Magdalena lives with her husband and two sons in the mountains of Salzburg. She is a Catholic theologian with a passion for the Holy Land and her own garden. She likes to design children’s churches and TaizĂ© prayers and sings with passion and loves to be creative. She has already worked with interactive prayer stations in school, in the parish and in hospital pastoral care. She is delighted to see what enrichment the prayer stations are for all ages in the most varied of contexts and is looking forward to making Prayer Spaces in Schools better known as a consultant for school pastoral care in the education authority of the Archdiocese of Salzburg.
