The training will be hosted by Liz Ogborne from the Prayer Spaces in Schools National Leadership team and Bristol Schools Connection. It will be a fantastic opportunity to explore how outdoor prayer spaces can be used as a way of responding to climate emergency, connecting children with the natural world, improving their wellbeing and enriching their RE learning and spiritual development.
Since the pandemic, outdoor spiritual spaces have become hugely popular in schools. This is the perfect time to begin planning for an outdoor prayer space in your school for Spring/Summer 2023. Whether you're new to prayer spaces or have hosted them in school before, this training will provide fresh ideas, new resources and inspiring local stories. We're confident you'll leave feeling ready and inspired to work in partnership with your local church, to provide this multi-sensory, interactive, spiritual experience for your pupils.
