Prayer spaces in schools give pupils a fantastic opportunity to explore prayer in a safe, engaging, creative and interactive way. As well as supporting RE, a prayer space is a calming, peaceful place in the midst of all the busyness of school life.
This training day, will inspire you with the vision and practice of prayer spaces, equip you with resources and ideas, give you an opportunity to try out some of the prayer activities, and give you an insight into the impact of these spaces through the voices of children, young people and teachers.
The day will be led by Tim Abbott, GB Team Leader for Prayer Spaces in Schools and formerly Director of a city wide Christian charity working with schools and colleges.
