Prayer spaces in schools engage the God given spiritual curiosity of pupils giving them a way to pause, reflect and to explore prayer for themselves. Whether primary or secondary, church foundation or state run, many schools now welcome prayer spaces as a way of supporting RE, encouraging spiritual development and contributing to student wellbeing.

This training day will cover all you need to know to get started in hosting your first prayer space in school including fresh ideas for experienced prayer space practitioners, practical ideas for sourcing materials and gathering a great team, best practice guidelines for working safely, how prayer spaces can express the mission of God in an educational setting AND a real-life prayer space for you to see and experience.
