This half day workshop will help you to plan and run engaging, interactive prayer spaces in your local schools. We’ll have case studies, feedback from staff and pupils, and an opportunity to try out a range of activities that would typically be used in a school prayer space as well as guidance on how to ensure the space is run safely and in a way that supports the spiritual and pastoral needs of pupils.

There will also be an after school session open from 3.45 to 4.45 for for anyone who would like a brief introduction to prayer spaces in schools.

Led by Tim Abbott, GB Team Leader for Prayer Spaces in Schools and formerly director of CYO in Colchester where they’ve been running prayer spaces in primary and secondary schools since 2008.

This will be a face to face training event. If you are joining us for the core session, please bring your lunch. Drinks will be provided.

3.45-4.45pm: After School open session for anyone who would like a brief introduction but cannot make the core session or only wants a light touch introduction.
