Now in its fifth year, the National Day of Prayer for Schools draws together people from across the nation with a passion that one day every school in the UK will have a Church that is praying for it and actively seeking to serve it. We recognise that whilst 95% of young people in the UK aren’t engaged in their local church, 99% of young people are in mainstream education, so to shape the nation we want to pray and serve our schools.
There will be national Zoom prayer meetings you can be part of, as well as a range of resources to help you pray for your local schools. You could pray on your own, with a group of others or head out and prayer walk the schools in your community. What’s the big vision… that on Friday 27th September every school will be prayed for and that God would ‘open wide the gates, that the King of glory might come in.’ (Psalm 24:9)
