Jana lebt gemeinsam mit ihrem Mann Johnny und ihren beiden Kindern in Marburg. Nach ihrer Ausbildung als Erzieherin und Kinder – und Jugenddiakonin hat sie seit 2010 Prayerspaces in Deutschland aufgebaut. Außerdem leitet sie mir ihrem Mann eine Gemeinde in Marburg im Stadtteil Richtsberg. Sie begeistert durch ihre offene und lebensfrohe Art. Sie ist innovativ und ihr Herz schlägt dafür, dass Glaube und somit gelebte Spiritualität in der Gesellschaft und besonders in Schulen auf gesunde Art und Weise gelebt werden kann. 

Josias ist Lehramtsstudent an der Philipps-Universität Marburg und leitet seit mehreren Jahren ehrenamtlich ein offenes Nachhilfeangebot in seinem Stadtteil. Dabei liebt er es, Schülerinnen und Schülern einen Ort zu schaffen, in dem Lernfortschritte und persönliche Entwicklungen stattfinden können. Sein Wunsch ist es, dass Kinder und Jugendliche ihr volles Potential entfalten und Schulen durch Prayerspaces zu einem Ort des Lichts und der Wiederherstellung werden.

Fr Reuben Gauci lives in Malta. Fr Reuben was ordained as a Catholic priest in 2006. Fr Reuben currently works with educators, children and young people through schools and a non-governmental organisation called ZAK. Between 2006 and 2010, Fr Reuben served in a parish and in the Diocesan Ecumenical Commission. Fr Reuben has pioneered prayer spaces across Malta alongside Silvana.

Silvana Cardona lives in Malta with her husband and four daughters. She has been an educator for over 30 years, half of which she has spent teaching in centres for young people with challenging behaviour. Silvana co-ordinates the Prayer Spaces team in Malta with Fr Reuben. The team have supported around 200 prayer space in schools, seminars, youth organisations, family retreats, Summer schools and in St John’s Co Cathedral during the State of Europe forum. 

Juliëtte Pol lives in a tiny apartment near the city centre of Utrecht. She is a youth worker in a local Dutch Protestant Church and has joined the 24-7 Prayer team one day-a-week to help Prayer Spaces in Schools kick off in the Netherlands. 

Franz is the coordinator of Prayer Spaces in Schools Austria and is based in Salzburg. He is a catholic theologian and works as a religious education teacher in a secondary school. Between 2012 and 2018 he worked for the diocese of Salzburg with a focus on children and youth ministry. He helped to found Prayer Spaces in Schools Austria in 2013. 

Maria lebt mit ihrem Mann und ihren beiden Kindern in Marburg. Sie arbeitet als stellvertetende Leiterin im Intensiv Betreuten Wohnen mit chronisch psychisch kranken Erwachsen. In ihrer freien Zeit hat sie sich in den letzten 10 Jahren ehrenamtlich für Schulen in Hessen innerhalb der Schüler-SMD engagiert. Ihre Power füllt sie wieder auf, indem sie joggt oder Fahrrad fährt. Maria lebt und liebt Verlässlichkeit und Treue. 

Caro lebt in Marburg und ist seit August 2023 Teil von Prayerspaces Deutschland. Sie studiert im Master inklusive Pädagogik und investiert sich gerne in die jüngere Generation. Ihr Anliegen ist es, in die Vision von Prayerspaces zu investieren, um Schülerinnen und Schülern durch kreative Art und Weise einen Raum für Kommunikation und Begegnung mit Gott zu ermöglichen.

Tony lives in Grand Rapids, Michigan, with his wife, Jenn, and their family. Having encountered the 24-7 Prayer movement (and Jesus!) in a prayer room in Grand Rapids, Tony and Jenn pioneered the Stockbridge Boiler Room (prayer) community in 2007. Seven years later, they felt called to start a school that could partner with prayer communities. Currently, Tony is Program Director at the Journey Academy, and the first director for Prayer Spaces in Schools USA.

Ebony grew up on the missions field in China and is now based in Surrey with her husband and newborn baby. She trained as a sports physiotherapist at university and has worked with children and learning-disabled adults clinical environments. She is passionate about justice, prayer and helping young people to discover who they are and what they were made for. Ebony is responsible for running the operations and communications for Prayer Spaces in Schools.

Emma Thompson is wife to Pete and mummy to Micah and Selah. Originally from England, she has spent the last 10 years doing a bunch of youth work related activity and now works with 24-7 Prayer Ireland co-ordinating Prayer Spaces in Schools.

Laura has just returned serving with Altitude Mission for 5 months in the French Alps. She can normally be found climbing mountains, surfing and running across London where she lives. Laura studied Theology at university and was then part of the team planting a Vineyard Church in SW London. She is passionate about prayer, hospitality and making people feel really welcome. Laura is now responsible for the operations and communication for Prayer Spaces in Schools.

Liz Ogborne is on the national oversight team for PSIS. She works for Bristol Schools Connection which equips and trains church teams to serve the life of the local school. Previously she has been a primary school teacher, an RE Advisory Teacher and a schools worker teaching creative RE to primary and secondary pupils. Liz is married to Jon and they have 2 grown up children. 

Phil lives on the North-East coast of England with his family (one wife, three daughters and two dogs). Phil trained and worked in a wide range of Youth & Community settings before serving as 24-7 Prayer’s UK director for 7 years. He now leads the Prayer Spaces in Schools teams, he’s part of 24-7’s Lectio365 core team, and he teaches and coaches leaders on the Diocese of Durham’s Missional Leadership for Growth (MLG) programme. 

Cuong arbeitet an einer privaten christlichen Schule in Bremen (die FEBB) und ist bei Prayerspaces für den Fundraisingbereich zuständig.

An Prayerspaces begeistert ihn die Möglichkeit, junge Menschen in Gebet zu begleiten, damit sie ihre Gedanken und Gefühle reflektieren und vor Gott bringen können.

Tim leads CYO, a schools ministry in Colchester, Essex, and has been involved in schools work for quite a while. CYO has been running prayer rooms for over 20 years and in July 2008 launched Sanctum, a Prayer Space for secondary schools.
