Jumping For Joy

Joy isn’t the same thing as happiness, but it is closely linked. Joy has a lot in common with gratitude, because it involves choosing to be or speak positively, even when some things around us are negative. This activity encourages students to think about things that make them joyful (joy-full) and to shout them out.

Life Stories

Stories catch our imagination. It’s why soap operas and (so-called) reality shows attract our attention. We are interested in the lives of other people because we are trying to make sense of our own. This activity encourages students to watch and listen to stories from people who believe that their faith in God has helped them in various ways, and to consider what these stories might mean for them.
